Week 11 - Wow!!
It seems that everyone is feverishly trying to finish the last assignments. I know I am. I still have a bunch of stuff to do.
It also seems as though many folks in the class are going to the Minn residency. It would be great to exchange cell numbers so we could meet up and say hello in person.
Good luck to everyone in completing the last few tasks. I have had a great time this quarter networking with everyone on skype. Thanks for all of your help, suggestions, and insight.

Week 10 Reflection-
Well hello again everyone-
Week ten - can you believe it??? The quarter seemes like it just started and here we are wrapping things up. I have spent the week trying to get my final paper done. I just have to reread it to make sure there are not typos, grammar errors, etc...
I finished looking throught the MM projects and I really enjoyed them. I learned alot and hope to get some extra time this summer to spend on learning how to use some of the tools like flash, video and sound tools, wikis, podcasts, etc...
Finally, I had some nice chats on skype. It seems like everyone is busy getting the fial assignments done and making plans for summer activities, including the upcoming summer residencies. Anyone going to Minneapolis? Hope to see you there.

Reflection for the week
Hello Everyone-
We're finishing week 9! Wow- time has passed by sooooo fast. This has been a busy week. I have enjoyed viewing all of the great multimedia presentations from Musabbir, Pamela, Derek, Elizabeth, Rachel, and Lisa and I'm looking forward to viewing the rest of the presentations by the end of the week. Everyone has done a fantastic job on the presentations and I have learned so much from this assignment.
I had a nice skype chat this week with Kent, with a few silly jokes that helped to make me smile. That's something I really needed after a very difficult week. I've missed a few small chats with some others, and I hope to catch up to them by the end of the week. It seems that many of us a very busy finishing the last assignments such as the final paper before the end of the course.

This weeks reflection
Hello Everyone-
I have had the opportunity to see several of the mtulimedia projects. Wow! what talent we have in this class. I just love what everyone has done and have really gained some new ideas and thoughts from such diverse topics. I am glad we have another week to review them so we don't have to rush through them. I don't want to miss anything.
Well it has been a tough week. Much appreciation to the sympathetic thoughts offered from the folks in the class. I have some nice skype chats with Pamela, Dr T. , and Kent. It seems everyone is focused on the final paper.
Well, so little time in the class and still so much to do.

Another reflection/post for this week
Howdy Everyone-
I just wanted to slip in another blog post this week in addition to the one I made a few days ago.
I had a great week chatting with Pamela and Kent about the multimedia projects - ironing out the bugs and reviewing each others work. Skpye has really helped with the communication on projects. I don't know If I would have accomplished as much as I have if it were not for skype.
Now I am digging through some of the projects that others are posting. It is exciting to get so many new ideas.

Reflection for the week
Hello Again everyone-
Oh what a busy week it has been. I have finally finished my multimedia presentation. I feel like I spent a zillion hours working on it, but I feel much accomplishment now that it is finished. For the really tech savy person, it probably would have taken an hour or so, but for me this was a challenge and a fulfilling journey. I learned so much about so many related issues to recording sound and video, different software pakages that are available for free and for a fee. Some of them I like, and some I didn't like. Some were easy to use and some , well ...lets not go there. Anyhow, much was gained from the experience. The problem I have now is, my kids were looking over my shoulders on many of the days that I was working and now they want to have their own wiki, and their own blog, and their own videos on youtube, and skype every friend they have. My kids are turning into tech monsters!! Fact is, they are better at it than I am!! Now I need another 20 hours in the day to keep up with them.
